Our Year 7 students have been busy since the beginning of term learning about grotesques and gargoyles. The result is a variety of 'grotesque creatures'. Each student has chosen different features to create their own individual image. Throughout the project students developed their skills in charcoal and chalk pastel while also learning the importance of tone. Tone and an understanding of light have helped to develop more dynamic drawings.
