On a beautiful day this autumn the new AS students took a trip to Liverpool to both the Walker Art Gallery and the Liverpool Tate. At each gallery there were different artistic works to behold. At the Walker the main exhibition of choice was titled 'Modern and Contemporary British Painting' and included works by artists like Peter Doig, Sam Jackson, David Hepher and Graham Crowley to name a few that caught our eyes. After a short walk along the sunny street of Liverpool we arrive at the Tate in the Albert Docks for lunch and more art courtesy of the DLA Piper Constellation series. Overall an enjoyable and smooth trip in and out of Liverpool on the train and back to Bangor in good time. Special thanks for Mrs. Beighton for accompanying us and for her extra support. Looking forward to next time! |
