When finished, the letters were used to develop words, sentences and a poem in groups. The longest word using all of one group's letters was - cellphone. The poems where imaginative, especially because the students were limited to the words that they could spell using their 3-D letters! Sentences from the poems included "He used the eel to heal the peel of the peach", "His ape at a grape", and "a lamb did wheel a whale in the mall with a ball and ale, with a ewe and a rare bear".
A fantastic effort by all and a great way to lead in to October - poetry month!
